ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused No.2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25, 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.19 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has not pressed the petition and he made a request for expedite trial, since the petitioner is under judicial custody for more than seven months. 3.Considering the request made by the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner is under judicial custody for more than seven months, there shall be a direction to the trial Court, to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
