[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the fifth respondent in the public road, namely, Abdul Kalam Ashath Road, situated in Old Town Survey No.2755/1, New Town Survey No.1, Ward A.V.Block 29 at Melappalayam, Tirunelveli District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the encroachment pointed out by the petitioner has been removed by the authorities concerned.
