ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 30.11.2019.

2. According to the writ petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 24.01.2021. Hence, he has sent a representation on 17.08.2023 seeking interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits.

3. In view of the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to pay 6% interest from 01.12.2019 till 23.01.2021 shall be disbursed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
