ORDER

The petitioner asserts that he was the Managing Trustee of the Sri Angala Eswari Shanthana Karuppasami Kula Theiva Kovil. He submits that the revenue records classify the lands in S.No.37/18 as "Sarkar Poromboke Kovil Idam." Instead, he seeks rectification by entering the name of the above mentioned temple in such revenue records.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He submits that the land admeasures a total extent of 25 cents. Since it is classified as sarkar poromboke, he submits that the name of a private temple cannot be entered in the revenue records. Without prejudice, he submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits.

3.In view of the above submissions, the third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2025 on 2/4

merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any others with an interest in the subject matter. The representation shall be disposed of within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition stands disposed of.
