ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. It is seen that the petitioner was selling crackers during Diwali season for the last six years. She seeks renewal of the license to run the cracker shop for the current year also. For certain reasons, her application could not be considered. There does not appear to be any impediment as such.

3. The petitioner counsel gives an undertaking that she will adhere to all the safe guards and safety measures that may be stipulated by the authorities. The petitioner has obtained No Objection Certificate from the Fire Service Department etc.

4. I direct the first respondent to issue temporary license to enable the petitioner to run a cracker shop at the petition mentioned premises for this year. This shall be done by the first respondent today itself.

5. This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
