PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order made by the second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.12605/2009/Aa1 dated 20.10.2014 and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the fourth respondent for register any document in respect of the petitioner Land S.No.747/5B having an extent of 2175 sq.feet. in western side of plot Nos.6 and 7 and 2175.1/8 Square feet in Eastern side of Plot Nos.6 and 7 and also 2175 square feet in Center of the Northern Lot, Totally an extent measuring 6525.1/8 Square feet or its equals to 606.42 Square meter situated at Aranmanaipudur Southern circle, Koduvilarpatti Village, Theni Sub Registration District, Periyakulam Registration District, Theni.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner challenges an order dated 20.10.2014 of the second respondent and seeks a consequential direction to the fourth respondent to register the documents relating to the petitioner's land as described in this Writ Petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to an earlier order of 2/5

this Court dated 13.12.2023 in W.P.(MD) No.29548 of 2023. In terms thereof, he submits that the petitioner is entitled to the relief claimed.

3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request for registration of documents relating to the relevant lands would be considered in accordance with law.

In order dated 13.12.2023, this Court extracted the order dated 30.09.2022 in W.P.(MD) No.20334 of 2015 (C.Muniyandi vs. the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai and others), wherein the proceedings dated 20.10.2014 of the second respondent was set aside. As a consequence, as stated therein, it is unnecessary for the petitioner to once again challenge such proceedings. The fourth respondent shall, therefore, receive and consider the request for registration of the conveyance relating to the petitioner's land without reference to the said order dated 20.10.2014.
