O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for direction to the first respondent to issue G.O in favour of the petitioner, on the basis of recommendation made by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.H.2/17808/2015, dated 04.11.2015.

2.The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 1971 and thereafter, she was promoted and transferred to Karukkapilai Kallar School, as a Secondary Grade Headmistress. Thereafter, the petitioner was transferred to various places and finally, worked as a Headmistress in Kodikulam Kallar School and thereafter, she retired from service. Further, after retirement, the petitioner has made a representation 1/3

dated 01.06.2016 to the respondents for payment of benefits, as per the recommendation of the 5th pay commission for the service rendered by him from the date of his joining as Primary School Headmaster to till the date of 01.06.1988, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.11, dated 30.01.2015. So far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2016 within the time limit as fixed by this Court.

4.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not disposed of already.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
