Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse all pending professional fees and court filing expenses for rendering service as Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent State Express Transport Corporation for the period between January, 2020 to February, 2022 as per the Annexure of pending bills enclosed in the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2022.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was a Standing Counsel for the second respondent. His contention is that in respect of the professional service rendered by him, he has not been paid full remuneration. The petitioner had already given a representation dated 04.05.2022 in this regard. The second respondent is directed to go into the said representation and quantify the remuneration to be paid to the petitioner. This amount shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is allowed on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
