This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner for early disposal of G.W.O.P.No.16 of 2021 on the file of the Principal District Court, Thoothukudi. Since this Civil Revision Petition filed by the petitioner is only for early disposal of G.W.O.P., the notice for the respondent is not required and is therefore dispensed with.

2. G.W.O.P.No.16 of 2021 was filed by the petitioner before the Principal District Court for appointing him as a guardian of their minor child. According to the petitioner, the respondent made appearance and filed her counter affidavit on 29.11.2021 and thereafter, there is no progress in the case. It is submitted that learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi without any valid reasons is adjourning the matter and hence the petitioner was constrained to file this Civil Miscellaneous Petition for speedy disposal of G.W.O.P.

3. On perusal of the records and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi is directed to dispose the G.W.O.P.No.16 of 2021, without giving any unnecessary adjournments, by affording sufficient opportunities to the parties to put forth their contentions, expeditiously, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
