PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to implement the first respondent order in Na.Ka.No.5230/2016/A2 dated 23.08.2016.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants his compliance of the direction issued by the second respondent dated 23.08.2016. 3.Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Executive Officer, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department / second respondent submitted that he had concluded enquiry and also submitted a report to the first respondent.

4.Mr.V.R.Shanmuga Nathan, learned Special Government Pleader, states that the first respondent had already received the enquiry report submitted by the second respondent, but no orders have been passed.

5.I therefore direct the first respondent to pass orders on the enquiry report submitted by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
