This Writ Petition is filed for direction to the respondent to appoint the person, who appeared for interview on 03.02.2017 for the post of over Tank Pump Operator in his office in furtherance of the notification made in Na.Ka.No.70/2015, dated 18.01.2017, in the news paper Tamil Sudar.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.During the pendency of this Writ Petition, some other persons were appointed as Over Tank Pump Operators and hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be considered. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
