ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to recover the petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.TN 02 BT 9849 illegally taken by the 3rd respondent and hand over the same to the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.09.2025, within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 28.08.2025 as it disclosed only a civil dispute. The petitioner has lodged another complaint and the same is pending to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out. He would further submit that the said enquiry would be completed within a period of two weeks.

3. Recording the above submissions, the second respondent is directed to 2/4

conduct the enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and complete the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, result of the enquiry shall be communicated to the petitioner.
