ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the wife, seeking transfer of the case in H.M.O.P.No.190 of 2022 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Devakottai to be transferred to the Sub Court, Kumbakonam on the ground that she is residing in Thiruvidaimarudhur and she finds difficult to travel all along to Devakottai.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent / husband submits that it could be transferred to Pudukkottai.

3. The Petitioner / wife being a resident of Thiruvidaimarudhur, which is nearer to Kumbakonam, this Court is inclined to transfer the case in H.M.O.P.No.190 of 2022 to the file of the Sub Court, Kumbakonam. Therefore, H.M.O.P.No.190 of 2022 pending on the file of Sub Court, Devakottai is hereby withdrawn and transferred to Sub Court, Kumbakonam. The learned Subordinate Judge, Kumbakonam, is directed to dispose of the case in H.M.O.P.No.190 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above said observations, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 24.02.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Sm To 1.The Sub Court, Devakottai.
