ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's Appeal Petition 1/4

dated 14.10.2024 regarding cancellation of joint patta No.1361 and 10619 and issue separate patta in petitioner's name and his brothers and sisters' names measuring to an extent of 96 cents in survey No.117/8A at Thevaram Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.

2. With consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after lapse of two months, no action has been initiated by the first respondent on the petitioner's appeal and therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the above writ petition for the aforesaid rrelief.

4. Considering the fact that the first respondent has not initiated any action on the petitioner's appeal dated 14.10.2024, I am inclined to issue a direction. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner by following the time line given in the Circular dated 17.07.2023 of the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
