By relying on sale deed dated 28.08.1985, the petitioner had applied for a mutation of the patta. On the ground that such application has not been considered and disposed of within a reasonable time, the present petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner's request for patta transfer would be considered and disposed of within twelve weeks.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Tahsildar to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta transfer within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other person interested in the relevant property.
