The instant writ petition has been filed by an Attender working in the second respondent Cooperative Society, seeking a mandamus to disburse the salary to him from 01.05.2024 onwards.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was initially appointed as a Salesman and later he was promoted as Attender on 28.02.2013. However, by way of proceedings dated 18.07.2024, the promotion order of the writ petitioner was cancelled and reverted back to the post of Salesman. This order was put to challenge in W.P.(MD).No.17344 of 2024. This Court by an order on 29.07.2024, had set aside the reversion order and directed the writ petitioner to submit his explanation to the second respondent. According to the petitioner, he has submitted his representation on 11.09.2024. However, the second respondent has not passed any orders and he has being paid salary only for the post of salesman which is in contravention of the orders of this Court. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to disburse the salary of the writ petitioner in the post of Attender till a final decision taken by him, pursuant to the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.17344 of 2024, dated 29.07.2024, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
