This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime no.18 of 2023 dated 12.02.2023 and to file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. Learned Government Advocate submitted that investigation is pending in this case and the same will be completed within a period of five months.

3. In view of the submissions, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
