Heard Mr.S.Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.K.Jayaselan, learned Government Advocate for the 1st respondent and Mr.N.Ananda Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents 2 & 3.

This Writ Petition is filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue house Tax Receipt in favour of the petitioner's house in Door No.19/5A, Selvanapuram, Polpettai Street, Thoothukudi Town Survey No.4137/1B2, Plot No.7, based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2024.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the said representation was received by the third respondent, and further contended that the petitioner failed to produce any supporting documents to substantiate his claim.

Since the petitioner's representation is pending with the third respondent, the third respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner submitting the necessary supporting materials to substantiate his claim. The third respondent shall pass orders on merit and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
