ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to give necessary Police Protection to erect a fence around the petitioner's property in survey No.82/4B to an extent of 10 cents is situated at seppuruttipatti, Chinnalupai Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2025.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's land was surveyed in the presence of the Surveyor and the third respondent. However, now the third respondent is preventing him from putting up fencing in the petitioner's property.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the representation given by the petitioner, dated 21.07.2025, enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as it disclosed only a civil dispute.

4. This Court is of the view that the respondent Police cannot interfere into such boundary disputes between the neighbours. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the third respondent, he may approach the civil Court for appropriate remedy.
