This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners in the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent police is harassing the petitioners.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that a complaint was received from the first petitioner's wife alleging that the petitioners herein are retaining her jewels. Based on that, enquiry was conducted by the respondent police. During the pendency of this petition, the matter was also referred to mediation. However, mediation is unsuccessful. In view of the pendency of this petition, the enquiry is also kept pending.

4.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 5.The petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry on 16.04.2024. The respondent police shall conduct an enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks, thereafter.
