cancel the wrong entries in Patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.146/1B, Old Patta No.204, New Patta No.335 to an extent 0.61.00 Ares situated in Mallarpettai Village, Sathanur Revenue Village and Post, Thiruvidaimarudur Taluk, Thanjavur District made in favour of respondents 5 and 6 and to include the petitioner's principal name in all the revenue records and to dispose the second respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.No.29/2025/A3 dated 17.06.2025.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by an agent of one Mr.Lakshmanan. It is stated that an error was committed in the UDR records by removing the name of the said Laxmanan and entering a different name therein. After submitting a representation dated 15.04.2025, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. He submits that the representation was submitted about 40 years after the alleged error took place. Without prejudice, he submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of 2/4

on merits within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submissions, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the private respondents herein and any other persons with an interest in the relevant property. No costs.
