ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct to pass orders on the petitioner's request for cancellation of Patta Nos.392 and 930 issued wrongly and to consequently issue joint patta in favour of the petitioner's father's legal heirs.

2.Initially, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 05.03.2019 and again subsequently, on 18.09.2024 seeking cancellation of wrong patta issued in respect of the petitioner's father's estate comprised in S.No. 311/11A (Patta No.392) and S.No.336/3 (Patta No.930), based on the petitioner's father's sale deed dated 14.09.1978.

3.Admittedly, the said representation of the petitioner is pending from atleast 18.09.2024 and considering the fact that the second respondent is the competent authority, it would suffice to issue a direction to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 18.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
