ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to transfer the investigation in respect of C.S.R.No.474 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent Police to the fourth respondent police or any other independent investigation agency, as as to ensure proper investigation is conducted into petitioner's complaint.

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court, Mr.Prakash, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Mrs.Kalaivani, Inspector of Police are present before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that FIR came to be registered in Crime No.4 of 2023. 2/4

4. The Deputy Superintendent of Police would submit that one Sundaramahalingam, Inspector of Police, took charge yesterday and he is the investigating Officer, in respect of the case in Crime No.4 of 2023.

5. In view of the above, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, is directed to proceed with the investigation and the Deputy Superintendent of Police, is directed to monitor the same.

6. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
