ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The prayer is for a mandamus directing the official respondents to remove the encroachments made by R4 in S.No.29/1, Nagachi Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.
2. Service is completed on the private respondent / R4 and learned counsel appears today and seeks some time.
3. However, this does not detain us, in view of the written instructions circulated by Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R3, in Na.Ka.Pi9/4504/2025, dated 09.10.2025, to the 2/5
effect that the land in question has been surveyed and encroachments detected.
3. Notice under Section 7 of Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1908 (Act), dated 08.10.2025, has also been issued to Mr.S.Ramachandran, arrayed as R4.
4. In light of the same, let the proceedings run their course and be taken to a logical conclusion in terms of the provisions of the Act and applicable Rules.
5. Since the prayer in the petition stands achieved by deduction of encroachment and issuance of notice as aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
