Heard both sides.
2. The petitioner seeks assignment of land in the petition mentioned survey number.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader clarified that way back in the year 1992, assignment in the said survey number was given in favour of as many as 19 persons. Since they had not complied with the condition to put up constructions, the assignments were cancelled in the year 1994. Subsequently a major portion of the land was given to the third respondent. The remaining extent of land had also been given to the third respondent. According to the authorities, there is no land left in the petition mentioned survey number. If that be so, the second respondent shall inform the petitioner accordingly so that the petitioner can avail any other remedy.
4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
