This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate to complete trial within a specific period in C.C.No.492 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District. 1/4
2. The petitioner is the accused in the above said case, which was registered for the offences under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. Even though cognizance was taken in 2018, it is kept pending for the past four years. B Diary extract also produced before this Court. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District, to expedite the trial process in C.C No.492 of 2018 and dispose of the same, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposal of the case, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
