ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai to commit the case in P.R.C.No.50 of 2018 to the competent Court within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the learned Magistrate, after finding that the offence under the Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act was not attracted, has converted the case into Calendar Case in C.C.No. 174 of 2019 and the same is pending for trial.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the trial Court may be directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the fact that the case is pending for trial, the trial Court is directed to complete 2/4

the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.174 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
