Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners pending Appeal petition dated 25.01.2019 and further directing the respondents to take immediate and necessary action to granting the reimbursement of Rs.1,04,049/- medical expenses within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners pending Appeal petition dated 25.01.2019 and further directing the respondents to take immediate and necessary action to granting the reimbursement of Rs.1,04,049/- medical expenses within a time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner as early as in the year 2019 before the first respondent is still pending. He would further submit that the said appeal is for reimbursement of Rs.1,04,049/- of the medical expenses incurred by him.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. Notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with considering the fact that the Court is only going to direct the first respondent and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner.

4. Considering the fact that the appeal filed by the petitioner has been pending with the first respondent from the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
