PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.23 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 498(A) and 494 of IPC, in Crime No.23 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that A1 developed an illegal intimacy with A2 and was forcing the defacto complainant to leave matrimonial home. A3 and A4, who are the father-in-law and the monter-in-law were also causing cruelty to the defacto complainant.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

4. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, no custodial interrogation is required in this case. Therefore, it is left open to the respondent police to resort to the procedure under Section 35 of the BNSS and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. 2/3
