JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.199 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Keeranur, Pudukkottai District and set aside the judgment dated 23.06.2022 and punish the respondents 2 to 15/Accused No.2 and 15 in accordance with law.

2. The defacto complainant filed this appeal challenging the acquittal judgment made in C.C.No.199 of 2020 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Keeranur.

3. According to the appellant acquittal judgment passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Keeranur is not in accordance with law.

4. As per the judgment of the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court the appeal is liable to be filed before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai. Hence, the Registry is directed to transfer this appeal to the learned Principal Sessions Court, Pudukkottai within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After receiving the bundle, the learned Principal Session Court, Pudukkottai to assign a new number and issue summons to the appellant as well as the accused persons and thereafter, decide the case on its own merits.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the appellant made a

request before this Court that to issue direction to the learned Principal Sessions Court, Pudukkottai, to dispose the case as expeditiously as possible.

6. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the appellant, learned Principal Sessions Court, Pudukkottai is directed to dispose of the case as early as possible.
