ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to direct the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioner on the guise of enquiry except through due process of law.

2. The petitioner has sent a representation on 21.11.2024 stating that on 30.10.2024, the third respondent herein / Palanichamy had attacked the petitioner with wooden lode and also abused him. The said Palanichamy had lodged complaint that the petitioner had assaulted him using wooden log and lodged a complaint with the Illupur Police Station.

3. According to the petitioner, due to the previous enmity a false complaint has been lodged by Palanichamy and the Inspector without causing proper enquiry harassing the petitioner and claiming him for enquiry. Hence, he sent a representation.

4. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is said to have assaulted the said Palanichamy who had sustained injury taken treatment at Illupur Government Hospital 2/4

and he was also inpatient. Against the petitioner now it is seen that a case in Crime No.258 of 2024 registered. In view of the same, the petitioner prayer cannot be entertained.
