PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code,To call for the records relating to the FIR in Cr.No.502/2022 dt 24.12.2022 on the file of the R1 herein and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.502 of 2022 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police.

2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.502 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 448,294(b), 323, 506(ii) of IPC. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the injured who suffered injuries was admitted in the hospital on 22.12.2022. On the next day, she was discharged. Wound Certificate is also obtained. Investigation almost over.

4.In view of the above said submissions, there shall be a direction to the Investigating Officer to complete the Investigation and file final report, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of 2/4

this order. The petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved by the contents of the final report. There is no quashment of FIR at this stage.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
