ORDER

The Criminal Revision is directed against the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.5456 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.193 of 2024 dated 04.10.2024 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, directing the first petitioner/first accused to deposit 20% of the compensation amount before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level, Madurai, within a month.

2. The petitioners in the affidavit as well as in the grounds have raised grounds touching upon the merits of the main case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners 2 and 3 are senior citizens and they are not in a position to deposit the amount.

4. As rightly contended by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, the impugned order came to be passed on 04.10.2024 directing the first petitioner firm to deposit 20% of the compensation 2/4

amount within a month, which is a minimum amount but the petitioners have failed to comply with that order and filed the present revision challenging the said order.

5. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners may be granted sufficient time to comply with the direction.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances and taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the first petitioner is directed to deposit the amount as directed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, on or before 18.02.2025 before the concerned Court.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of.
