ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the first respondent dated 24.07.2025, whereby the licence granted to the petitioner's concern, Lakshmi Sri Fire Works, under Licence No.47/2008 was suspended. The petitioner further seeks a direction to the first respondent to permit him to run the factory, taking into account his deposition dated 11.08.2025 made before the first respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the impugned proceedings were issued pursuant to the order passed by the National Green Tribunal in O.A. No.29 of 2024, wherein, in paragraph 13, it has been held as follows:
"13. The District Collector is directed to file a report after inspection of each of the unit to find out (i) whether each of the unit is possessed of all the required licences, (ii) whether the conditions imposed in the licenses or approvals are strictly followed, (iii) whether the safety measures recommended are strictly followed, (iv) whether the 2/4
authorities concerned are regularly inspecting the units and (v) any other violation that may be noticed by the authorities. If any of the units found to be in violation, the authorities are directed to take action, including closure of the units."
3. The learned Special Government Pleader would further submit that it was only on account of the violation of the provisions of the Act that the unit licence had been temporarily suspended.
4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. It is always open to the petitioner to approach the concerned National Green Tribunal. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
