O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.878 of 2022 dated 02.12.2022 pending on the file of the second respondent police, within time limit fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.878 of 2022 has been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 406 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far, not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, after registration of F.I.R, the case is under investigation and one of the accused is absconding. Moreover, the petitioner has not produced some documents. However, they will complete the investigation within one month.
4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file the final report, Page No. 2 of 4
and the second respondent police also assured to complete the investigation within one month, this Court after recording the above submissions directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of one month from the date of this Order.
5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
