PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 5 to consider the petition dated 21.06.2021 and issue patta based on the order passed in Na.Ka.No.10770/2014/B3 within a stipulated time period.

By asserting that the petitioner constructed a small house on the land in survey No.267/2 and has resided there for more than 50 years, the petitioner applied for a house site patta. The petitioner further states that the third respondent considered the petitioner's request and recommended that the house site patta be issued to the petitioner. Since the fourth and fifth respondents did not take any action thereon, the present petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. On instructions, he submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of within twelve weeks. 2/4

Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for a house site patta within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
