PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents herein to investigate the complaint along 1/5
with Crime No.137 of 2019 on the file of CCB-I, Chennai which is now transferred to the second respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2022.
For petitioner : Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar For Respondents : Mr.B.Nambiselvan Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 and R2 Mr.C.Jeganathan for R3 and R4 O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 Police to investigate the complaint along with Crime No.137 of 2019 on the file of CCB-I, Chennai, which is now transferred to the second respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the fourth respondent has made a false complaint against the petitioner, based on which, a case in Crime No.137 of 2019 was registered. In order to cull out the truth and conduct enquiry, the petitioner had made a detailed representation before the respondents Police on 09.11.2022, but, the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. However, it would suffice if this Court directs the first respondent Police 2/5
to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2022 within a time stipulated by this Court and pass appropriate orders.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that a similar case was transferred to the "Q" Branch, CBCID.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent Police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
