(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble C.V.KARTHIKEYAN J.) Notice had been directed to the respondents. Notice had been taken and the respondents 1 & 2 have been served on 02.07.2025 and the names are printed in the cause list.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the third respondent / the District Collector, Thanjavur.

3. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that the suit has been filed for grant of compensation for the death by electrocution. It had been stated that the decree was passed on 28.06.2023, but it was brought to the notice of the officials only on 12.09.2024 due to the change of Government Pleader at Thanjavur District. Thereafter, steps were taken to get the copy of the judgment and decree and for obtaining opinion from the legal cell at Chennai. In all these factors, the delay has been occurred.
