ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is the elected President of Pachikottai Village Panchayat. The issue pertains to conducting a Kumbabishekam of the petition mentioned Temple. It is a Village Temple. Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment has not assumed jurisdiction over the Temple. Since there was a factional dispute, Kumbabishekam could not be performed. It is now stated by the learned Special Government Pleader that the factional disputes have been resolved. Therefore, there cannot be any objection for renovating the Temple and conducting Kumbabishekam as scheduled. The petitioner can very well proceed with the renovation and performance of Kumbabishekam as per customary rights and practices. The writ petition stands allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
