ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned FIR registered by the first respondent Police in Crime No.225 of 2013 dated 29.06.2013 and to quash the same.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that in a Crime Number mentioned in this petition, the first respondent has completed the investigation and laid the charge sheet. Thereafter, the case has been committed to the Court of Assistant Session Judge, Sivagangai and subsequently taken on file as S.C.No.120 of 2015 on 24.11.2017. The said case was disposed of by the learned Assistant Session Judge, Sivagangai. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioners becomes infructuous.

3.Recording the above statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
