After filing an appeal before the second respondent, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal thereof by this Writ Petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is a senior citizen who is 82 years old. On that ground, he seeks expeditious disposal.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. On instructions, he states that all the relevant records have been called for by the District Revenue Officer from the Revenue Divisional Officer. He further submits that the appeal would be disposed of on merits within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a 2/4
