O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5992 of 2024 dated 10.07.2024 has not been complied with.

2. Considering the application filed by this petitioner, this Court by order dated 10.07.2024, directed the Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai, to constitute a special team and take necessary steps to find out the culprits.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the Superintendent of Police has constituted a special team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police. The Deputy Superintendent of 2/5

Police has also collected the call details and now, they have narrowed down to 167 persons. It appears that the respondents have not fixed the accused so far. Further passage of time would destroy the evidence. The respondents have to take proper initiatives.

4. Considering the scope of the order, this Court is not inclined to entertain contempt petition. Since the Superintendent of Police has already constituted a special team headed by the Deputy Superintendent of police, this Contempt Petition is closed with an expectation that the respondent police would conduct a proper investigation and find the actions.
