Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner's son namely, Saravana Kumar who is detained at Central Prison, Madurai, in CP.No.1806, for doing funerary commemoration rituals of his father Later Kasipandi for the period of 3 days i.e 07.11.2023 to 09.11.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation sent on 03.11.2023.

Therefore, we find that the captioned matter has become infructuous. However, we preserve all the rights and contentions of the petitioner and / or any one else concerned for the petitioner's son Thiru.Saravana Kumar who is a prison inmate [CP.No.1806] in Central Prison, Madurai, to move the authorities for leave for future dates if so advised and if so desired.
