Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioners' claim is that they are street vendors eking out their livelihood in Tirumangalam Town Limit. They claim that they are entitled to participate in the street vendors election scheduled to be held shortly. They have given a representation on 12.12.2022.

3. The respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from today. If the respondent is satisfied that the petitioners are the street vendors, the respondent will also take appropriate remedial action.
