Heard the petitioner in person and the learned Standing counsel appearing for Madurai Corporation.

2. The petitioner points out that the petition-mentioned road is in a very bad condition. The photographs enclosed in the typed set of papers indicate that the other streets in the very same locality are being well maintained. The petition-mentioned street alone cannot be treated otherwise.

3. The learned Standing counsel fairly states that the grievance of the petitioner has been taken note of and that it will be redressed as expeditiously as possible.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
