Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants this Court to direct the official respondents not to run the Temporary Paddy Procurement Centre at Achankulam village.

3. The reason prescribed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition is that the fifth respondent is acting in a high-handed manner and that the agriculturists like the petitioner are feeling put off. 4.This allegation is vehemently denied by the fifth respondent. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent states that the fifth 2/ 4

3 W.P.(MD)No.28703 of 2022 respondent is also an agriculturist like any other person and that he is not demanding any illegal gratification from others. 5.While the Corporation can run the Paddy Procurement Centre at Achankulam, they must ensure that all the agriculturists are having a free access and that there should not be any demand for payment of any illegal gratification. It is the duty of the second respondent to ensure that the procurement operations are freely conducted. 6.With this direction to the second respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
