This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the Page No. 1 of 4

respondent police to complete the enquiry and file the final report in Crime No.245 of 2018 dated 12.11.2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No..245 of 2018 has been registered for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C and altered into 306 of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that initially, the case has been registered for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C and altered into 306 IPC and thereafter, they completed the investigation. Now, the case is pending for legal opinion and they will file the final report within one month.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to direct the respondent to file the final report and already the respondent police have completed the investigation and assured to file the final report within one month, this Court after recording the above said submission inclined to close this Page No. 2 of 4
