ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 - 3 to take appropriate action and issue look out notice against the 4th respondent based on the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.1599 of 2024 before the Principal District Judge, Sivagangai and consequently impound the passport of the 4th respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Central Government Standing counsel, Mr.Pon Senthilkumaran, appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that they cannot issue a lookout notice until and unless the requirement from the jurisdictional Superintendent of Police has been received by the 1st respondent.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) K.Gnanasekaran has filed a status report on behalf of the 3rd respondent. On the basis of the same, he submitted that, in view of the direction in Crl.No.1599 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Sivagangai, that the 3rd respondent after fulfiling all statutory requirements, had issued a look out circular in Loc.No.2024437980 dated 11.11.2024. However, the 4th respondent is still in abroad and has not returned back so far.

5.As far as the prayer pertaining to impounding the passport of the 4th respondent is concerned, in view of the fact that the lookout circular has already been issued, the petitioner is directed to furnish the details of the passport to the 1st respondent forthwith.

6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
