Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen. She alleges that she is being threatened and harassed by her tenants. While the petitioner can work out her rights in the manner known to law, her safety has to be ensured by the jurisdictional police. That is the statutory scheme set out in the rules framed under the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. The petitioner has given a representation to the third respondent. The third respondent is directed to enquire into the same.
