ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the unauthorized construction made by the 4th respondent at Mathakovil Street, Karankadu Village, Pudupattinam Post, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent has made a submission that the subject property is not falling within the territorial jurisdiction of the Ramanathapuram Municipality, but falling within the jurisdiction of Karankadu Village.

3.May that as it be, the District Collector / 1st respondent is directed to conduct field inspection of the subject property through revenue authorities and ascertain the unauthorized construction, if any and initiate action to remove the same by following the procedures as contemplated under the Act and by affording opportunity to the parties concerned. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
